Ford Transit Expert Series Video Production

We're back at Ford this year for a Ford Expert Series on the All New Ford Transit Custom. The video is mainly focused on technical explanations, a deep dive into new technologies, and new vehicle features. The media type is primarily a technical conversation between Mike (Ford Academy) and Anna (Ford Transit Custom Department Head).

Pre-production was very straight forward, I got the script from Anna and Mike, then developed the shooting list and storyboard.

The location is Ford Training Department, a studio of around 100 square meters. There was only one concern: the location was very close to an airport, which might cause audio interruptions from airplanes landing and taking off.

During the shooting day, we followed the script and everything went smoothly. In order to promote the Ford blue theme, 3 point lighting was used, with a little RGB highlight at the back of the scene.

The draft editing, including color grading and audio enhancement, took about 2 weeks to complete.
