During this trip, Mark and I flew to Queensland and stayed for 3 days to shoot a photoshoot with all accessories mounted on a Ford Ranger XLT for a new album.
The Ranger's color is red (called Race Red), so the general vibe will be sporty, summery, warm and hot. In order to highlight this car's tow bars, we hired a Jetski and two models who were pretending they were on vacation.
Pre-Production:
To create a shooting list for the whole photoshoot, I requested a list of all accessories on the car. In order to visualize the scene I want to capture in this concept, I collect photos from Behance and Pinterest.

Mark helped me monitor the weather and choose the best 3-4 days. When booking models, we make sure they have a relaxed and sporty look. The permit for commercial drones in Bribie was also checked.
Production:
The weather in Brisbane, Queensland was hot and humid! It's a great place to enjoy beach activities. The weather reminds me of my hometown, Saigon. After arriving in Brisband, we spent the afternoon scouting the city, making sure the car was ready for the next day. After that, we head back to the hotel and have a few beers in the local pub. There's nothing better than a cold beer on a 28-degree night. My final check before bed was to make sure my batteries and memory card were ready for tomorrow.
The shooting day turned out to be perfect, with a clear sky and little wind. Models show up on time and are down to earth. We pick up the jet sky and head to Bribie to start shooting.

While exploring Bribie, we found a perfect spot to set the scene, where there is a high area of sand next to a river. Mark and Paul help me move the cars so I can select the best spot for the best lighting. We took some great photos during the test.
We were lucky to find the perfect spot in the early morning, and we stayed there until sunset to get the final scene we planned.

In the end, everything turned out exactly as we had planned.
The weather the next day was terrible. It was constantly raining and stopping. This makes it extremely difficult to clean the car before every shot.
Still, we wanted to knock over the walk-around videos, it's just a quick video to highlight the products we installed on the car. Thanks to Mark's expertise in presentation, it only took us 30 minutes to finish the whole shoot.
Using sky replacement, I retouched videos and photos to bring back summer vibes.

In the end, I still think we were so lucky to find the great spot at the beginning, and the weather was perfect on the shooting day. The project was completed as we wanted it, and at a minimal cost.
